Terms and Conditions
The RENTER declares and undertakes that they accept to use the vehicle in accordance with the conditions specified in this contract. The RENTER who signs this contract is deemed to have accepted the contract and all obligations arising from it. All notifications sent to the address specified in the rental contract will be deemed valid.
1. Rental Conditions
- The vehicle may be used by the RENTER or an ADDITIONAL DRIVER who has held a valid driving licence for at least 2 years, depending on the condition of the vehicle.
- The driver must meet the age limit specified in the General Rental Information and Conditions.
- Only the persons designated as the main driver or additional driver in the contract may use the rented vehicle from the beginning of the rental period.
- For Economy and Medium Segment vehicles, free delivery is provided to hotels in the specified regions for rentals of 2 or more days.
- For Convertible and Upper Segment vehicles rented for 1 day and delivered to hotels in remote areas, delivery is provided to the hotel where the vehicle is requested to be brought, in return for the amount determined by the RENTAL COMPANY.
- Free delivery is provided for all vehicle groups for 1-day rentals to the Belek, Antalya, Boğazkent, Kundu and Lara regions.
- For some reservations with future dates, prepayment of the total reservation price is required.
2. Use of the Rented Vehicle
- The rented vehicle may not be used to transport passengers or goods for any direct or indirect income.
- It may not be used to push or tow any vehicle or trailer.
- It may not be used by anyone who has consumed alcohol or by anyone who is not specified as an additional driver.
- It may not be used in private races or motor sports.
- It may not be used to transport loads in a manner that may damage the vehicle.
- It may not be used off-road or in mountainous areas, or on land and roads that are unsuitable for the purpose of the rental or incompatible with the technical structure or endurance of the rented vehicle.
3. Return of the Vehicle
The RENTER shall return the rented vehicle, spare wheel, all tyres, documents, accessories and equipment in the condition in which they were received, to the AIVA Car Rental office in the city or location specified in the agreement. All extensions must be applied for through AIVA and approved by AIVA. In agreements extended without AIVA’s approval, the parties acknowledge that the RENTER has used the vehicle unlawfully.
4. Accident and Damage Liability
If an accident occurs during the rental period, the RENTER must provide AIVA with the documents required by the contract and applicable legislation, including the accident report and alcohol report. The RENTER is obliged to pay the excess amount for material and non-material damages arising from the accident, as determined by AIVA. Amounts exceeding this excess amount will be assessed by AIVA within the limits of AIVA’s insurance policy.
5. Super Mini Damage Insurance Package
Where the RENTER has paid for the Super Mini Damage Insurance Package, the RENTER may return the vehicle without any additional payment for damage below the amount determined by AIVA, provided that a report describing the circumstances of the incident is submitted. A police report is not required in such cases.
6. Exclusions from Insurance Coverage
The following situations are not covered by the insurance:
- Punctures, splits, scratches or other damage to the tyres and rims.
- Theft of the wheel covers or spare wheel.
- Damage to equipment such as the registration plate and vehicle registration documents.
- Any damage to the vehicle that is not covered by the insurance.
7. Personal Belongings
AIVA cannot be held responsible for items stolen or lost from the vehicle during the rental period.
